I finished HBP!

OK, it IS the best book yet. The last book was such a horrible disappointment (sorry, HP diehards), but this one was amazing. And the setup for the next book promises to be even better. Eek - how long do we have to wait?

Awww. I love Prisoner of Azkaban too. ;-) Remus and Sirius are my favorite characters. *Still mad about Sirius*

Wow, last book. That's right. The pressure's on! Now I'm really looking forward to it, whereas with this one I was like, 'I'll get around to reading it eventually.'

Yes, I'm only going to write only Harry/Draco from now on.

Don't worry. This is about all you'll hear from me on the subject, most likely.

I was so annoyed with the 5th book and angsty Harry and not dead!Sirius that all I wanted to do was throw it across the room. I was so happy when HBP was actually good. I still think PoA is my favorite, but HBP is very close second. I am just anxiously awaiting the release of book 7.

Yep. ITA with all that. POA is so poignant with conjuring his father's patronus and all. *sniff*

This one was so well paced, after the horribleness that was the 5th book. And yeah, very anxious for book 7 now!

Hehehe, I sort of missed capslock!Harry this book XD

BUT TALK TO ME! Tell me what you think! Is Snape evil? And what about all the ships?? Remus/Tonks made me dry heave. My favorite part was when Malfoy stomped on Harry's face oh yes.

I am so glad all that boo-hooing with Cho Chang is history. True to adolescent awkwardness but no fun to read! ;-D Dreary!

OK. Here's my thoughts. I do NOT believe Snape is evil. That's too easy. Sure, it was a shocker, but he did make the unbreakable vow. (And was egged on to do it by Dumbledore, is what I'm hearing through more connected theorists.)

Aw, I liked Remus/Tonks. Remus & Sirius are my favorite characters, hands down. Tonks - I honstly didn't remember her from previous books, she made so little impression before. Surprised Fleur stayed with Bill. Loved Harry/Ginny. The whole thing where he gives her up at the end was so "Spider-Man."

Malfoy breaking Harry's nose was shocking yes - made me sit up and go - ooh! Violence! And suddenly I could see shipping them, just a little. Heh. I like a bit of tension/angst/violence in my slash. Otherwise, what's the point - might as well stick with het, LOL.

So yes, loved it. And now I know what a horcrux is! ;-D And I'm very psyched for the next book.

And yes, I cried, even though I'd been spoiled. The phoenix singing just did me in. That and Hagrid. *sniff*
