Sawyer Playlist

No, it's not the Sawyer song, just some tunes from my iTunes I think "James" would like or that make me think of his character. Also a way to motivate me to get some darn (actually non-fic!) much-needed writing done! Although I'm just wasting time, really Oops.

My favorite...yes, SO Sawyerific ;)

24 just makes me think of the little hs girls on lost-forum on the S/K boards :( They're always going on and ON about how that's their song. Bluh(although it IS a good S song, I'll admit that in private).

Yeah, #24's a little poppy for Sawyer, maybe, but I do like the song and the vid. Didn't know it was the official S/K song!!

"Everlong" makes me ever so happy and melancholy at the same time.

Man, I wish I had some AC/DC, some more Sabbath and what else...? More digital Pearl Jam. And Soundgarden. C'mon, you know Sawyer flies the flannel! ;-> (Ex Northwesterner, so I am free to mock. Because I love.)

Also need more Johnny Cash and country in general to really be Sawyer-iffic! Oh well, you work with what you have.

There's an Audioslave song that I can't think of at the moment...bluh, oh well. Also, I like "3 Libras" by A Perfect Circle. Tons o' angst ;) Made a J/K/S vid to it, but it's not that great.

Ha, flannel love, LOL!!

All Audioslave is good! I *heart* Chris Cornell.

Got a link to that vid?

I did vids to two of the songs here: "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Feel Like Makin' Love" (a very shippy K/S vid.)

I have a few other good ideas, if I ever have time. Expecting an onslaught of new vid with all the new delicious, angsty Sawyer footage!

I am patiently waiting for my retard of a spousal unit to get my not-so-legal copy of Adobe Premiere up and running so that I can make vids that don't look like ass. I'll get you a link to "3L", I've been meaning to put up one, anyway. And I'm all about new vids!! Woot! Care to swap links?

Oh, have you ever heard of Lucero? He has this great Southern/Western Rock type voice, and the first time I heard him he instantly reminded me of Sawyer. That's what got me liking him. He even has a song called 'That Much Further West' where he sings the lines "Tell Katie it's her that I adore" and "I ain't that much worse than the rest." PERFECT for Sawyer in my opinion. "When You Decided to Leave" is another good, very Sawyer-ish song, if a bit on the melancholy side.

Anyway, yeah. I'm glad to see I'm not the only who has Sawyer songs.

No, i haven't heard of him. Sounds good and very appropriate!

BTW: Just listening to Aerosmith, "Last Child," and Steven Tyler sings "Gotta get back to my sweet *sassafrassee*!" (Rhymed it with "Tallahassee"). Hee!

Thanks to you, I now have "Baby did a bad, bad thing" stuck in my head! Of course, I do have an image of sawyer too, so... Also, have you ever heard the song "Cowboy" by Kid Rock? I think of Sawyer whenever I hear it!

Yeah, that is a good Sawyer song. It would be in here if I had it! Some people have said he looks like Kid Rock but Kid is so *scrawny.* I don't see the resemblance, myself, other than they're both Southern and are kinda scruffy.

HA! I'm not the only one who thinks Boulevard of Broken Dreams fits Sawyer.... But I feel like a total moron for not knowing most of those. ^^;; Guess I'll have to track them down. I'm glad you brought my attention to Devil Went Down to Georgia, Somewhere I Belong, and Don't Fear the Reaper, since I have heard those but never thought to link them to Sawyer. (I find Reaper a pretty good idea since it played in The Stand, and... Well, considering how often Lost parallels it, it seems rather fitting. ~_^ )

Hmmmm... Have you heard "Real Good Man" by Tom McGraw? That's a really good Sawyer song... And I've heard several people say "Lucky One" by Allison Kraus and Union Station fits, but, uh... That song's waaaaay too slow and girly for Sawyer. ^^;; I seriously need to develop my own Sawyer playlist. *le sigh*

I wanted to do a Blvd of Broken Dreams vid for Sawyer but I hear someone beat me to it! I'm having vid source issues, sigh. Oh well, I still have other ideas that are a bit more obscure. ;->

I haven't heard "Real Good Man." (Did you mean Tim McGraw? I do like him. Is that the one he wrote about his dad?) I have a very limited country collection but I do love me some Johnny Cash and other classic stuff like Patsy Cline & Hank Williams (Sr!).

Nick Cave is a bluesy, punk/Gothic singer from Australia who does a lot of dark story songs. One of my all time fave singers, very intense! Rev. Horton Heat is revved up rockabilly. Very fun.

*looks up* My God, I just said "Tom" didn't I. *facepalm* Yes, I meant "Tim." Anyway, no the one about his dad is "Live Like You Were Dying" which is really dramatic, and Real Good Man is kinda funny.

"I may be a real bad boy/But, baby, I'm a real good man"
