America! *throws up hands in defeat* I do NOT understand how Bush got reelected after it was revealed there no WMDs and that the entire war was and always had been a lie.

Seriously, I'd vote for BIll Clinton over again. Great president. Flawed man. (But then, who isn't?) Would I want him as my husband? Nope. But as that catchy saying goes, "No one died when Clinton lied."

I don't know if you watch the MSNBC polls regularly, but I will lay money that if the results keep up like that, either (1) the poll will be "disappeared" or (2) the results will suddenly flip for no explicable reason!

No, I don't pay much attention to them usually, but a friend forwarded me the link. Hmm. From last night to now, the results have been really consistent so far!

It's great if it is remaining consistent. I've seen many polls like this either simply disappear, or the results suddenly got flipped on their heads. Of course, most of that happened when Bush's approval ratings were much higher, so maybe that's making the difference now. Regardless, I'll be saving the original page for posterity! :)

I hate that now that his approval rating is going down the toilet the Republicans are trying to distance themselves from him. Stand by your man people. You got him elected. You're stuck with him.

As for me, I try to pay attention to politics as little as possible, because it's the only thing that keeps me sane. But Bush is a sorry president. End of story.

Well, Bush couldn't run for a third term anyway. :-/ But I'm hoping that the general public is fed up with the Republican approach.

I usually just surface to vote in elections. The rest of the time I have to tune out or I'd go mad.

OMG I VOTED IN THAT. I DID. I REALLY, REALLY DID. And I bet you can't guess what I voted. :D

Okay, so you could. But I had to comment and use my John Stewart quotey icon because I just HAD to. You understand.

And the American public couldn't have had the good sense to think this way a friggin year and a half ago WHY?! Argh. When Clinton was in office, our economy was booming, we were friendly with the other nations, and us middle-class folk lived comfortably. Enter Bush ... and it all went to hell in a handbasket. Ass.
