Haunted to air on the SciFi Channel

Hadn't seen this posted anywhere on my flist yet: Good news re: Matthew Fox's pre-Lost series, Haunted, which isn't on DVD. It's set to air on the SciFI Channel sometime during the 2006-07 season! I watched it when it was on, even though the subpar acting of the other actors (especially his wooden wife!) and the predictability of the plots (could that mysterious woman/man/couple he just met be ... a ghost? Yes!) didn't detract from enjoying the Foxyness!

i watched a few of the episodes when it was on..at least now I can watch the rest.

Still...he was the main reason I tuned in for the Lost pilot. Then they said who else was going to be on it..that really intrigued me..that and how they were going to handle it being an island..how long it could go on for..then came that pilot, Jack and Sawyer..I was toast before it was even over. *smile*

Yes! ;) I'm glad these will be reaired. They pulled it before they even showed all the episodes that were shot.

I've always loved Foxy, ever since the Po5 days, but I had to bail on that show after a while. Too much freakin' Neve Campbell! And that horribly whiny little sister!

And with Lost, I came for the Foxy (and the JJ) and I stayed for the Sawyer .. and the Jack/Sawyer!

I say the same thing..I came for the foxy but stayed for the Sawyer and of course the Foxy.

I never really watched a JJ show before though.

Party of Five..I found old tapes I have of that..I freakin' loved that show..but damn, that character needed some balls sometimes.

Ha, Foxy said the same thing ... that you could tell a woman wrote Po5. I liked his character, for the most part (seriously, at Jack's wedding to Sarah, I thought he was going to ditch her like he did the chick on Po5!) but the other characters drove me batty. So maybe I missed a lot of the spinelessness that went on.

Of course, Foxy's always been good at the angst and the man!weeping. ;)

*cracks up at the trenchcoat* Channeling David Duchovney much?

Tee hee. He doesn't end up wearing the trench much, that I recall. And these aren't the most flattering photos ... I posted some caps here (although these are mostly CU.)

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Thank you for sharing these. Don't think I've seen these before. LOVE the first one.

Welcome! It's funny to see him with so much hair! Kinda now like seeing Wentworth with a full head of hair! Vive le buzz cut!

Seeing those photos makes me realize how much ridiculous love I have for the little grey hairs in Foxy's hair and beard. ;)

THankies for the head's up, babe!

He looks the best he ever has in Lost, definitely. ;)

I seem to recall caps where he was tied to a bed. I will watch hours of crappy acting and predictable plots to see Foxy tied to a bed for 5 seconds. Gladly.

Oh yes! I definitely recall the "tied to a bed" episode! ;) And he was also injured! *wibbles*

This news made me squee! I don't remember a darned thing about the series other than that Foxy was sexy and angsty and with ghost-seeing powers. Were there other characters on the show, LOL?

Anyway, thanks for the good news. I might actually have reason to hook up my VCR again (or wish for a decent digital version to show up.)

That's all you need to know! ;)

Yes, I look forward not only to seeing the eps again but to seeing high-quality caps!

It's airing in the UK at the moment, and I keep forgetting to watch. D'oh!

TiVo? ;)
Aug. 12th, 2006 04:23 pm (UTC)
I don't think we have that in England. Or at least, if we have it by another name, I don't have it anyway!

Shoot! But I'm sure eps will be floating around online when it re-airs here.

Lucky you!
My SciFi Channel has no such plans. *sighs* I just hope I'll be able to d/l it somewhere...

With it re-airing in the US, I expect someone will be uploading for their less fortunate friends. (Alas, I'm not one of them, I can't get my TiVo eps on my comp since I'm on a Mac.)

That's awesome. I actually watched the show when it was on UPN, and yes -- it was a cheese-fest, but an enjoyable one. And teh Foxy. One episode I remember is where he's tracking a missing/murdered girl, and he keeps hearing the song "Long Long Time" whenever he "sees" her. Pretty good ep, I thought, and the show did have potential. Thanks for the heads up! =D

Mmm, as long as Foxy was brooding or angsting or in peril -- and he did all three very week! -- I was a happy girl. I'm not sure if I remember that ep ... I remember the one in the scary hotel and the lame voodoo one and the one where he got dragged into a bathtub and nearly drowned. And, of course the one where he was TIED TO A BED! ;) Pretty lame episode, except for the whole tied to a bed thing!
