Welcome aboard!! ;) I just got caught up this summer myself and have been having a blast, although I don't read nearly as much SPN fic as Lost. It's a really fun fandom from what I can tell. It should be cool to watch more or less in synch with everyone else for S2!

I had to stop reading Lost fics,I think luau was a little too much for me-one day I was reading a hell of J/S fic,amazing and porny and realized that it has no effect on me.I can't let that happen,I love my fandom too much-so I'm taking a break and SPN was more than welcome.
I d/led and watched 22 episodes in less than a week,couldn't stop:)
So far,I'm having lots of fun and I can't wait till September 28.

Oh noes! I hope you're not burnt out on Lost fic forever. I think a break is a fantastic idea.

I'm only really into SPN gen but I've come across some amazing authors. Although I'll never be able to keep up that intensely with TWO current fandoms! Maybe it's a good thing Lost is taking that hiatus? *ducks and cringes*

Nah,I don't think it's possible,but break was much needed.
I never thought I'll OD on Lost porn-but I was wrong...but seriously,5-6 fics a days you must read b/c of the wonderful writers,so.
We'll see about this hiatus,I get so frustrated waiting for new episodes-2,5 months hiatus sounds like hell.But if I'll have SPN to obsess about,I'll be OK;)

I have attempted Sawyer/Sayid on a number of occasions, but I think the closest I've come to a full-fledged S/S fic is my last fic, "Blood." Although it could still happen! ;)

Why does that not surprise me at all? LOL.

I realize the given options don't really appeal to you, but they all came out of the luau. And yes, I'm STILL playing luau fic catch-up!
