This Britney shit is CA-RAZY. She looks like Linda Blair with her head about to turn around in those photos where she's smiling inside the ambulance. Scary. I feel bad she can't get any privacy.

And how is it that she and K-Fed's lawyers tie up so much time in the LA courts? They seem to be in there every other day! Surely they must be bumping other people who should be getting court time.

Lol, it's beyond crazy it's veered into abject tragedy! I just can't watch this anymore. Did you see those paps chasing the ambulance on foot?! Incredible. Why is that shit allowed to happen in our society. No don't answer that. It's too depressing.

It's very depressing. Those people disgust me. She needs to leave LA and go somewhere quiet and hopefully get the help she needs. But the public just loves trainwrecks.

Oh god, he is SUCH an attention whore. If he really wanted to help her, he'd do it privately. I kinda love Dr. Drew but he's a bit of a whore too, isn't he? I'm waiting for Dr. Nick to offer his 2 cents, LOL.

It's just a sad sad sad situation.

First she's a mess, she really is, I'm sorry to say it, but it's true, she totally needs someone normal in her life that isn't a sponge and isn't going to let her roam around, drive around like a nut and maybe convince her to pass on some of those Starbucks triple lattes.

And what's worse are those scavenger photographers that all take the same picture, that are 2 inches away from her, and who all are/were waiting like vultures to pick over her bones. seriously, I'd love to know what a Constitutional Lawyer would say to that..me, I think they impede her right to happiness..others may not see it, but I'm telling you, they will cackle like hyenas, if they aren't already, because they sure as hell did when she lost the kids, when she finally does fall hard.

It's sad, tragic and unfortunally this takes up so much air time on tv, because luckily, there's nothing more important going on in the world today but what in the hell she had for lunch at a McDonald's drive through.

And the article..someone said that no one wanted to pull the "watch" on her..well, they can piss and moan all they want and they may not WANT to do it, but they are being PAID to do it, like it or not..someone was going to have to, it's their job, don't like it, find another one.

From what I've read, people are constantly trying to give her good advice (what to wear, etc.) and she just won't listen. Whether that's arrogance or mental illness, she needs help and I don't even think she still realizes she needs help. I do tend to think it's mental illness because her behavior is just so damn strange. I do feel bad for her, but mostly for the kids.

The paparazzi are evil -- I could never do that for a living. Have you ever seen La Dolce Vita, where the name comes from? They take photos of a woman whose family has just died and she doesn't know it yet -- they really are vultures and that was an exaggeration at the time but now it's completely true. It just keeps getting worse and worse until you think, "Where will it end?"

And yeah, the staffers who said no one wanted to go near her is awfully petty. They must get people who are out of it or even dangerous often ... the involvement in the media with all of this makes it that much worse. Sucks all around.

Sadly, there are probably boatloads of other couples who are exactly the same way. Throwing sand on the beach... sometimes I feel bad for Britney, but then I remember all of her old cheerleading for Dubya and his causes, and the sympathy disappears. I'm judgmental like that sometimes. And, dammit, she's just such an entertaining train wreck... clearly, I am a horrible person.

I guess I'm very lucky that I know nothing of those kind of custody disputes (except for the endless battles we got on ER and Lost, heh - my least favorite storylines ever!) I am not entertained by all this but horrified. I can't believe that it keeps getting worse and worse. I think she needs to leave the spotlight and get professional help... if she can.

She's a complete mess. She needs to just STOP and get help. And not get the kids back until she's been stable for quite a while, which may be never. Yeah, I feel terrible for those kids. :-/

I swear dude. She shit she pulls makes it really hard to sympathize with her.

I guess I'm in the camp that believes she's mentally ill and so I do sympathize with her. Of course, she has no business raising kids until (if!) she gets some serious help. I'm glad they've finally taken them away. I hope this is the lowest point for her -- I cannot believe it's gotten this crazy.

I would feel bad for her lack of privacy, except she apparently goes out driving just to be photographed. For whatever reason, she wants it.

It sounds like she's in or going to the psych ward. Which is terrible, but she's so messed up, I'm glad she's finally getting some help.

She has a bizarre love/hate addiction to attention, definitely. It does seem like she has mental problems and if so, I really can't find it in my heart to hate her, I just feel bad for her. Is she basically a good person? I don't know. She's obviously been spoiled and confused and has no clue what she's doing. It's a damn good thing they took those kids away! I hope she gets the help she desperately needs.

Aww, I guess I'm thinking she's having a legit mental breakdown and just needs help. And, of course, shouldn't be anywhere near her kids until she does. I kinda think she's a lost cause... mostly I feel bad for her kids.

I guess I'm a bitch, cuz I don't feel anything about her. She deserves all the trouble she gets cuz she's brought it all on herself. I'm sorry about the kids though. Thank god she lost custody.

I actually agree with those folks who thinks she's probably mentally ill. If that's the case, she's sick and she just needs help. She shouldn't be anywhere near those kids, of course! Not until she gets straightened out, assuming that's even possible. I just find the whole situation sad, another child star spiraling totally out of control. I do wish she would get help and until she does, she has no business raising two babies.

I have my moments where I feel bad for her and my moments when I think she pretty much brings things on herself. I mean, she has people with cameras basically stalking her, but sometimes she goes out of her way to attract them, so...*sigh* It's so sad this is where her life has ended up.

She's definitely addicted to the attention, but she's had such a warped upbringing, I can't help but still feel some sympathy for her. It does seem like she is mentally ill and if so, then she's not really in control of her actions. I hope she gets the help she obviously needs very badly -- and it's really for the best she's not seeing her kids anymore. They are the biggest losers in this whole situation.

This whole thing almost scares me. And those pictures *shudders*. That girl needs some serious help (understatement of the year -- maybe literally since it's only 4 days old)

The paparazzi throng is just so horrible. Of course, we're all feeding on the news so ... I completely agree she needs serious help, whether it's mental illness or just a complete inability to cope. I hope she gets the help she needs and manages to get her life back but it doesn't look very likely. I am glad they took the kids away finally. I kinda keep expecting to hear she's drowned them in the tub or something. :-(
