Here is the song whose lyrics I put in my header: "In the Sun" by Joseph Arthur. All his songs are totally about Jack/Sawyer. Yep. Even if they were written four years ago This song seems vaguely religious -- "May God's love be with you," in the chorus -- but ah, who cares? I prefer to believe it's about slashy manlove. Because isn't everything?
(But would the header look better without the lyrics? ... Do tell!)
Some classic New Order for
Temptation - "Oh you've got green eyes, oh you've got blue eyes, oh you've got gray eyes, and I've never seen anyone quite like you before." LOVE.
Love Vigilantes - This is a remix, FYI, not the original album track.
Sunrise - off the Low-Life album. Dark and moody -- and surprisingly heavy on electric guitar!
Vanishing Point - off the Technique album.
And some more classic new wave/'80s nostalgia:
Always the Sun - The Stranglers. Nice low-key.
Oblivious - Aztec Camera. Poppy! Lovably adorable! You WILL love this song. (holds gun to your head)
Love My Way - The Psychedelic Furs - Ah, the smooth scrape of Richard Butler's voice.
(hugs to my music-lovin' flist!)
