LOL, great polls! (and definitely the best way to recover your brain ;) ) And on the evilness, Ben isn't reachable. Not only he made me actually feel for Locke which hasn't been happening for a season and a half, but Widmore pales in comparison. There's totally no match. (That said, I'll take Widmore any day. No mindfucking -> excellent in my book.)

And LOL at Kate's love interest changing each week, that's sooo true. And I voted Jack there just because apart from Hurley he was the only O6 that I actually could like this round.

Oy, I know YOU share my exasperation with all the screen time Locke gets. Why can't that man just stay dead already? *sigh* And why anyone would trust Ben, well, that's beyond me! Especially over and over, the way Locke has.

Aww, no love for Sayid? I confess, I mostly just watched the convos with Jack and Sayid. The rest I just couldn't care about at all. What's a Locke ep without ghost!Boone?

I think Kate was talking about Aaron, since at this point in time she supposedly was still telling herself that he was her son and ergo she must love him. I don't think she meant a romantic relationship because I just can't imagine Kate caring about anyone (other than herself) enough for it to count as love.

Good poll, even if you did skip most of the ep (you didn't miss anything).

I figured Aaron was a possibility but the way she phrased it.... or maybe just beause Locke answered her question by naming the romantic love of his life. Eh, I didn't feel like rewatching that scene! This ep is definitely not staying in my TiVo. Ho hum!

I hope they realize (the writers, that is) that Kate comes off about as mentally stable as OctoMom! Well, I guess "mentally stable" is a relative term, when it comes to Lost characters. Say, who would qualify?

I think Rose and Bernard are mentally stable. Boone was. Charlie. Maybe Penny and/or Juliet? Oh, and Frank, as far as we know, at least. But I can't think of anyone else. I usually think of both Sawyer and Hurley as somewhat stable, but I think that might be my personal canon rather than what we see on the show.

Hurley is not the poster child for mental stability, and yet, somehow, he's the sanest one of all, most of the time! Sawyer does okay for having the background he had. Ahh, remember when it seemed like the island was there to serve as therapy? Well, in a way it has.

Who was Kate talking about when she mentioned loving someone?
I was hoping she wouldn't mention Sawyer's name. AND THANK GOD she didn't. I'm sorry, I'm just so tired of this triangle bullshit. Let her PICK someone, for crying out loud. I also thought Kate was PMS'in pretty bad when Locke was with her. Damn, I actually found her rather annoying and that's something, coming from me :O

WAAAALT!
So, apparantly the writers aren't entirely done with him. I was nearly in tears when Locke was waiting in that car and it appeared to be a high school and I screamed WAAALT! (Luckily, I was home alone at the time)

Also, Locke was not a very good leader, giving up like that. And I think his death eventually was the plan (or destiny wtf?) because when he mentioned Hawkings name, Ben went nuts. Or maybe because things would have gone differently then? Or perhaps it really was destiny? Walt dreaming about Locke when he was on the island in a suit (after the second 'crash' then) meant that Walt's having dreams about the future. And I think the island's not done with him either.

Cesar is random. That other chick too. Can you believe I can't even remember her name? Yeah. That's how much I care about new characters xD

Can't wait for next week, though hearing from Sawyer's line in that new promo, I'm having a feeling I won't like this at all. Shipper wise, then.

The writers obviously don't realize how tired we all are of the triangle. Jack and Sawyer both hopelessly in love with Kate? Instead of understanding them, we're all thinking, "But why? What do they see in her?"

New characters are boring and useless. Locke seems kind of pointless since Ben became so pivotal to the show, tbqh.

I'll be very happy to see Sawyer again but not if he hands over his balls in a jar like Jack did to get Kate back on the island. Yeesh!

Locke is not just delusional. He's pathetic. *sighs*

Other than that, I think Kate has no clue about loving someone, even if she thinks she does. *sighs again*

thanks for the poll, it helped overcoming the boredom of this episode. :)

Agreed, agreed. Locke is both pathetic *and* boring. I just don't care about him anymore. And Kate. *sigh* Both Jack and Sawyer need to wake up and realize there's no point in loving someone who can never love them back. Yeah, she doesn't know the meaning of the word. The whole Aaron thing is just creepy, imho.

Between Ben and Charles, do we even need Locke anymore? Just askin', cuz it seems like one or two middle-aged megalomaniacs is plenty for one show!

I like Ben more because Widmore was an ass to Desmond, lol.

But... Ben swore to kill Penny! Which is much worse!
