Lost: LaFleur

Dammit, Sawyer and Juliet are so happy together. It's like fanfic, people! The spooning!

And then there comes Kate. Why did you have to come back!!! Are you going to mention that you've been banging Jack in the meantime?

*sigh* If only Sawyer had told Juliet and brought her with him. Like we knew this wasn't coming, but still.

Anyway, Jack! Sawyer! In the same scene! God, how long has it been? It feels like three years in real time....

And Jesus, GOD, does there have to be a fucking childbirth scene in every episode now?

That was Reiko Aylesworth as Amy, aka Michelle from 24!!! I love her, the role, not so much.

And next week, Sawyer vs. Sayid?!

This is all making me very anxious and not in a good way.

Oh, and since when does Sawyer (excuse me, Jim) implicitly trust Locke so much? Is it all for love of Kate? (Or Jack? Or Sayid, depending on your ship?)

Herc? LOL! I know him not.

Jack and Sawyer together again... they better at least touch i the next episode. Yeesh! I love your icon, btw. Now THAT was a reunion!

I don't think anyone was surprised by any of those character revelations, even without having had the voices audible first. *shrugs* Lost is far less surprising than the writers think it is!

Herc's from Friday Night Lights, for some reason I thought you watched that! Whoops. Heh. (He was the other one in the Dharma dancing/waking LeFluer scene that wasn't the H!ITG!)

And yes, they better touch, dammit! And thanks about the icon. I miss the old days. So much so I've been re-watching S1 for the first time in forever, without the fear and dread that it'll just make me loathe the new eps even more, for not being S1. I've finally separated the show now, I guess. S1 was really it's own thing in so many ways. We'll never have it again, and I just need to suck it up and get over it.

True, true. It's been a good great while since I've actually been mouth-droppingly surprised by anything on Lost. I mean, I even saw the 4-toed statue coming this ep, and I've never been obsessed with that mystery, like some fans are.

Oh no, never seen a single ep of FNL. Sports are just not my thing at all and I swore The OC would be my last high school show, so that's a no-go for me!

S1 ... damn, we were so spoiled, weren't we? No new characters every damn episode. I mean, I've liked a lot of the new characters, but after a while, they start to seem like so much cannon fodder. Why bother getting invested when they're just going to get bumped off?

Awww. FNL is so much more than sports and high school. Really. I"m not going to try to hard sell you, but if you ever decide to change your mind, S1 is an amazing look at life and families, and humanity. Plus, there's been no better look at a marriage on television than at Coach and Tami Taylor.

We WERE spoiled with S1 of Lost. I loved it's look at humanity and interactions between the losties, which really don't matter so much anymore as often in favor of THE. BIG. MYSTERIES. Which are great. Some I'm even very interested in. But I'll never care as much about them as I will the simplier, more humane things. Like Jack working so hard on Boone. Or Sawyer's Hyperopia.

Hell, we've had so many MYSTERIES that I pretty damn sure I've forgotten half of them. Some of the characters I've forgotten. Like Horace, for a second I forgotten we'd seen him before at first, because there's just been SO much to try to remember and box away for importance later. I know it was my waning interest in those seasons that made me just brush through things. I really think I need to see S4 again, as I don't think I retained very much of it at all, due to my total lack of disinterest at its start.

I doubt I will ever give FNL a try -- here's my confession: I just can't get invested in shows about real people doing everyday things in the real world. I gotta have vampires or demons or spies or gangsters or something else as a hook! And as someone who's not married, I'm really not very interested in TV marriage either! Mostly, I like to see people kicking ass and being awesome, which there's very little of in real life!

And yeah, the mysteries. *sigh* That and the goddamn fucking triangle/quadrangle! I'm surprised any of us are still watching but then it's kind of all things to all people, in a way. Remember how there used to be that "snuggly_lost" comm just for Charlie & Claire & peanut butter & stuff? Ha. So not an aspect of the show I ever celebrated!

I gotta confess I had to think hard to remember what happened in S4 and then I was like, "Aha, who are the O6?" It was a good season, but not enough Sawyer!
