Lost: Namaste

I wasn't able to watch Lost until just now and I know I'm waaaaay behind everyone else's discussion of it.

I confess to being disappointed. At least, the Jack/Sawyer fangirl in me is. Why is Sawyer so mad at Jack? That doesn't really add up to me. He's all "Yeah, I'm fucking Juliet. And Kate still wants me. And I saved your ass. And now you're a janitor. And oh, yeah, don't call me James." And let's not forget: "You sucked as a leader and I'm the bomb-diggity. How you like them apples?"

Might it not be a good time for Jack to mention that they came back because they thought everyone on the island was in danger? Are they just going to skip that little plot point? You'd think that Kate and Jack at least would be "Um... so, where's the emergency?" Unless it's to save them all from the imminent Hostile attack.

Jack, Kate and Hurley's hair fits in very, very well into 1977. As does Sayid's actually. It's multi-decade appropriate! Wonder how they'll deal with that whole situation... Next week looks very Confidence Man-like.

And I think that's all I got. I'd rather not have to deal with new cast members. Hoping their screen time will be very brief. Hmmm.

It seems as if half my f'list is behind on Lost, or at least posting their reviews and I'm glad, at least I've got something to do now :D

I wasn't only very angry about the Jack/Sawyer leadership-scene, but also disappointed in their reunion. What the fuck is up with this shit?

And I was completely surprised Sawyer reacted like this to Jack. I was like: where does this come from? Why are you doing this? It's not like it's to be compared. Jack was in a completely different situation back then, had to make decisions without thinking, even if he wanted and/or needed time, there simply wasn't any and its complete bullshit that Sawyer tells Jack that he wasn't thinking and therefore, people died. Shut up, Sawyer. There, said it.

I cannot cope with any more new (regular?) cast member. Seriously, I can't and simply WON'T care about any new people. That Cesar is annoying as fuck and I don't like that girl either, I don't even remember her name.

The whole scene was so strange, just conflict for conflict's sake. And not about anything really pressing just... random. I don't know, how hard can it be to write a meaningful scene about what's actually going on *and* acknowledge that it's a bit awkward for them to see each other again? There was really no need for them to be at each other's throats and Sawyer's comparison was unfair, you're right. It's apples and oranges and I don't buy that he'd get hung up on shoving Jack's face in his failures the second he gets back. I don't get it at all.

The new characters suck. I hope they are all monster-bait very soon.

Yeah, random's a good word for it. And it came out of bloody nowhere. If it would have had any sort of previous scene that lead up to it, but no. Just Jack going over to Sawyer to discuss what to do next, and there's Sawyer pretending he's the better of the two. I don't know. It just felt weird, didn't feel like Jack and Sawyer at all. Wouldn't say the chemistry is gone, but it was so awkward and not like them. Granted, it *has* been three years, but still.

With respect to the chemistry, Jack and Kate were like cold as ice. Are these supposed to be two adults that had sex the day/night before? Omg. *frustrated*
