O__o Wow, I hope this isn't true.

A woman is suing ABC and 'Lost' actor Henry Ian Cusick, claiming she was sexually harassed and then fired from the hit show.

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― A woman is suing ABC and 'Lost' actor Henry Ian Cusick, claiming she was sexually harassed and then fired from the hit show.

The woman filed the lawsuit on Friday in Los Angeles, alleging Cusick, who plays Desmond Hume on the show, fondled her buttocks and breasts and kissed her on the lips in October 2007. The lawsuit claims she reported the incident to her supervisor, but was simply told to avoid the actor. She states she was fired 12 days later in retaliation for reporting the alleged abuse.

The filing states the woman worked for ABC since 1997. She claims she suffered physical sickness, emotional distress and a miscarriage after the incident.

The lawsuit does not state how much she is seeking.

And hey, I watched SPN last night. I was as leery of the idea as anyone but I think they pulled it off. And yeah, I did suspect that ... oh crap, I've already forgotten the brother's name, was not what he seemed. Because where else could they go with that?

I'm going to have to see X-Men Origins. Even though Josh isn't in it.

Yeah, no es bueno. :-/

Yes, they took a very dodgy premise and made it work. (Love the tip of the hat with "cousin oliver diner's, heh.) I bet you're excited for next week's SPN! :)

I wouldn't be surprised if Desmond's days are numbered. If Lost boots actors for DUIs I can't imagine TPTB would be very tolerant of sexual harassment suits.

I had to google to find out what Cousin Oliver meant - I saw people referring to it and had no idea!

Ooh, I hope Desmond's days aren't numbered! Despite my lack of faith in Darlton, to put it mildly, I'd hope the lawyers at ABC would keep them from the folly of effectively firing HIC before anything had been demonstrated to a court's satisfaction, at least in terms of a civil claim. Michelle Rodriguez and whatshername did at least enter guilty pleas before getting the boot... and Daniel Dae Kim was spared, anyway. Hmm, a bit of sex discrimination... Argh!
