Ohhhh, Liam Neeson. I heart you so. Who *doesn't* love a good master/servantpupil relationship? I mean, even Anthony Hopkins was kind of hot in The Mask of Zorro when he was cracking that whip at Antonio Banderas.

So, please bring me fics of Liam Neeson & Christian Bale - or, rather, their characters. kthx!

Seriously. Very good (even excellent?) summer movie, a few obligatory cheesy oneliners aside. Of course I went with my friend who is so cynical she objects to flashbacks and people kissing, but even she was "85% for it." Katie Holmes ... did not annoy! I'm as amazed as you about that. I'm totally up for seeing this again and for the inevitable sequel, which was set up about 4 different ways.

Go. See this movie. Then write me fic! (looks around for batman_slash comm).

Ohhh Liam Neeson *le sigh*
The man is just amazing. And this idea about slashing him and Christian Bale is not bad at all. ;-) I wish someone read this and make one. I would surely read it.

I saw the movie yesterday and loved it. And, I don't know exactly why, but even on this movie, Katie Holmes annoyed me. I don't know what happens, I don't know if she's stuck in my mind as that damn Joey from DC, but she annoys me the whole time. And on this movie she annoyed me especially in the end. Well, not she, but her character. I don't know Batman's story at all, but that lame excuse that she gave not to stay with the man was...stupid, maybe? Yeah. That could be.

Oh, I don't know if you've seen this, but I laughed when I saw:

I'm of the school that believes Michael Keaton was the ONLY enjoyable Batman. And I actually kind of adore Val Kilmer AND George Clooney. But I've only liked Michael Keaton as Batman.

But Christian Bale? I'll go see that in a freakin' heartbeat. I'm psyched, even. LOVE him. I haven't been psyched to see a Batman since MK stopped doing them. I think what saves it for me is that it's set BEFORE the first Batman movie.

And Liam Neeson is absolutely scrumptious. I'd read those fics just for the visual, man. I heart BOTH of them. And hey, if you haven't seen them, go check out these icons by oxoniensis. Abso-freakin-lutely gorgeous.

The best Batman movie prior to 2005 is definitely Batman Returns. No screaming, annoying Kim Basinger for one thing. And Catwoman. Mrwor! ;-D Love that.

But this new one. Suitably dark. Only a *tad* campy. Great cast. I really do recommend it. And am primed for the sequel.

Thanks for the icon link! (drools)

Totally! ;-D Liam's never been hotter. Maybe *he* should have gone to the Dark Side in Star Wars.
